Q:How is the dating scene in South Korea as a African American female?

Hello there! The dating scene can be pretty diverse depending upon the city you live in. I have found that major areas such as Seoul and Busan have a pretty good size European and West African dating pool whereas Daejeon and Daegu have more single people from India, Nepal, and Filipines. I think people are more open to dating outside of their ethnic group while abroad due to all being classified as “waygooks.” I have found myself on dates with Korean men all the way to Indian men since I have touched down here. On every date I hear a variation of “Black women are so beautiful, your skin is so perfect.” I think dating here is fun and eye opening due to so many cultures mixing.
